Press Release: activity by the Steps Together Club, 18/02/2025
As air pollution and wildfire risks continue to rise in Chiang Mai, the "Steps Together" Club has launched the "Give Up Alcohol, Breathe Easier" campaign. This initiative aims to support frontline personnel working to control wildfires and reduce air pollution in the region.
The campaign encourages club members and the public to redirect their spending on alcoholic beverages toward purchasing essential supplies for wildfire response teams. These donations will help provide drinking water, energy drinks, protective masks, medical supplies, and ready-to-eat meals to support the efforts of those battling the crisis.
Objective:
- Support and uplift the morale of personnel involved in wildfire and air pollution management.
- Raise public awareness about air pollution issues and encourage community participation in solutions.
- Promote healthier habits by reducing alcohol consumption for personal and societal well-being.
We invite everyone to be part of this meaningful initiative and help spread the word so that essential aid reaches those in need as quickly as possible.
